V4RDE Nexus

Sanctions and shadow-fleet intelligence with provenance you can verify.

V4RDE Nexus aggregates and reconciles intelligence from 20+ international sanctions authorities, port-state-control regimes and vessel registries into a single queryable corpus — with deterministic scoring, cryptographic audit trails and direct export to the tools your analysts already use.

Intelligence Enrichment

From vessel to network — in one query.

Nexus maps entities, relationships and ownership structures across the full intelligence ontology. Query a vessel, surface its beneficial owners, flag history, sanctioned counterparties and network connections — all with typed, time-bounded edges and source attribution on every record.

Output exports natively to i2 Analyst's Notebook, Neo4j, Palantir Gotham/Foundry and Maltego — not CSV-and-pray.

Coverage

23 connectors. Daily and 3-hour sync cycles.

Every source is fetched, normalised and reconciled against the master entity index. No manual imports. No stale data.

Sanctions Lists
Major international and national sanctions regimes — multiple jurisdictions, updated on daily and intraday cycles.
Port-State Control
All major regional MoU regimes covering vessel detention, deficiency and ban records across global port networks.
Vessel Registries
National vessel registries across key maritime flag and coastal states.
Intelligence Reporting
Open-source intelligence reporting, investigative datasets and curated analytical sources.
Maritime Authorities
Official maritime authority publications and vessel safety data.
Risk Scoring

Deterministic. Indicator-level. Fully explainable.

Existing solutions either flag list-membership only — too coarse, missing pre-listing risk — or run black-box ML models analysts cannot defend to a regulator or court.

Every Nexus score is built from named indicators with fixed weights. The decision maker sees why the score moved, not just that it moved. Every indicator traces to source data and rule version.

Platform Capabilities

Built for analysts who need to be right.

01

Identity Reconciliation

Tier-hierarchy entity resolution (IMO → national ID → LEI → name) prevents false unification — the most expensive failure mode in intelligence systems.

02

Intelligence Ontology

11 entity supertypes, 12 typed edge relations. Person, Organisation, Vessel, Location, Financial, Digital — all connected with time-bounded, source-attributed links.

03

Provenance on Every Record

Source authority, upstream identifier, fetch timestamp, classification caveat and Admiralty Code confidence rating on every entity and edge.

04

Signed Event Streaming

HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks for NEWLY_SANCTIONED, FLAG_CHANGED, OWNER_CHANGED, RISK_SCORE_CHANGED and more — delivered to your endpoints in real time.

05

Analyst Tool Export

Native export to i2 Analyst's Notebook (ANB XML), Neo4j (Cypher), Palantir Gotham/Foundry and Maltego transforms. Also CSV, JSONL and Parquet.

06

Immutable Audit Log

Every write records actor, action, target, timestamp and payload to an append-only log. Vessels are never deleted — only marked inactive. Full lineage preserved.

API

REST API with signed event streaming.

Versioned under /api/v1/. API keys (SHA-256 hashed, scoped, rotation grace periods) for machines. bcrypt session login for the web UI. Webhook secrets stored hashed — plaintext never retained.
